A-pillar
Note. Removing and installing the A-pillar trim on the Sports Coupé is carried out in the same way.
Removing
1. Remove the trim along the A-pillar.
2. Detach the lining on the brackets using a plastic wedge (1) A-pillars (arrows in the illustration).
3. Take out facing upwards from directing on the panel of devices and remove it.
Installation
Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
B-pillar
Removing
1. Move the seat forward.
2. Disconnect the seat belt at the front seat, as described in Section Removal and installation of a forward seat.
3. Remove the trim along the B-pillar door frame.
4. Remove the brackets with a screwdriver (1) at the top of the B-pillar (arrows in the illustration) and remove the top cover from the bottom cover.
5. Take out a seat belt from the top facing.
6. Detach the bottom trim from the brackets (2) (arrows in the illustration) and remove from the B-pillar.
Installation
1. Insert the top trim brackets into the B-pillar.
2. Install the lower trim at the B-pillar and fix it.
3. Pass the seat belt through the groove in the top trim.
4. Install the top trim at the B-pillar and slide it under the bottom trim.
5. Insert your finger (3) seat belt into the seat belt support.
6. Insert stopper (4) button on the belt height adjustment mechanism.
7. Attach the top trim to the B-pillar.
8. Install the trim on the door frame.
9. Check the operation of the belt height adjustment mechanism.
10. Fasten the seat belt with a torque of 30Nm in the front seat.
