Removal



1. Remove the trim along the A-pillar.

2. Using a plastic wedge, detach the trim on the brackets (1) of the A-pillar (arrows in the…


2. Using a plastic wedge, detach the trim on the brackets (1) of the A-pillar (arrows in the illustration).

3. Pull the trim upwards from the guide on the instrument panel and remove it.

Installation



Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

Removal



1. Move the seat forward.

2. Remove the front seat belt as described in Section Removal and installation the front seat.

3. Remove the trim along the B-pillar door frame.

4. Using a screwdriver, remove the brackets (1) at the top of the B-pillar (arrows in the…


4. Using a screwdriver, remove the brackets (1) at the top of the B-pillar (arrows in the illustration) and remove the top trim from the bottom trim.



5. Remove the seat belt from the upper trim.

6. Detach the lower trim at the brackets (2) (arrows in the illustration) and remove from the B pillar.

Installation



1. Insert the top trim brackets into the B-post.

2. Install the lower trim at the B-pillar and secure it.

3. Route the seat belt through the slot in the upper trim.

4. Position the upper trim against the B-pillar and slide it under the lower trim.

5. Insert the pin (3) of the seat belt into the belt guide support.


5. Insert the pin (3) of the seat belt into the belt guide support.

6. Insert the stopper (4) into the button of the belt height adjustment mechanism.

7. Fix the upper trim to the B-pillar.

8. Install the trim on the door frame.

9. Check the operation of the belt height adjustment mechanism.

10. Fasten the seat belt to a torque of 30 Nm on the front seat.
