Removal



1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable with the ignition off. The cabin air filter box must be removed first.

Warning! Before disconnecting the cable, find out the radio receiver security code, if any, refer to Section Replacing the battery.


2. Open the ashtray lid, push the insert forward and release it. Remove the ashtray insert.

3. Using a screwdriver, press the locking strips (arrows in the illustration) left and right, release the ashtray housing (1) and remove it. In doing so, remove the housing by the ashtray lid.

4. Carefully disconnect the ashtray lamp connector. The lamp can be easily broken.

7. AT selector: Disconnect the plug from the back of the protective cover frame from the switch strip.

8. Turn the handle (2) counterclockwise and remove it from the lever/selector.

9. Pull the selector lever cover (1) out of the two clip holders with a strong tug.

10. Pull the cover forward out of the guide and remove it from the center console.

11. Depending on the model, disconnect the connector on the back of the cover from the switch strip.

12. Remove the cover from the center console.

14. Remove the side covers (2) on the right and left sides of the console tunnels.

15. Turn the screws (3) (2 pcs.) located behind the covers by ½ turn and detach the center console.

16. Move back the cover (1) above the cigarette lighter in the center console. (4) – large pocket.

17. Using a screwdriver, remove the can holder (2).

18. Press lightly on the small pocket (3) from the outside, tilt it to the side and remove it from the center console.

19. Detach the cigarette lighter support from the holder, press back and disconnect the connector as described in Section Removal and installation the cigarette lighter.

20. Remove the 2 screws (1) under the cigarette lighter.

Attention! For AT model 722.6, the self-locking screws must be replaced with new ones during installation and the shift rod must be adjusted.


21. Release the central armrest and fold it up.

22. Remove the mat in the large pocket (1) and unscrew the screws underneath it (2).

23. Lift the rear center console and remove it from the floor.



Installation



1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.

2. Connect the negative (-) cable to the battery with the ignition off. Reinstall the cabin air filter box. Enter the radio code and set the clock.
