Ashtray on the center console — removal and installation (Mercedes-Benz A-Class W168)

Removal

1. Remove the gear shift lever cover, see the relevant chapter.

2. Disconnect the multi-pin cigarette lighter plug.

3. Press the 2 stop tabs 1 on the ashtray body 3 with a screwdriver (see illustration).



4. Press the tabs (see arrows in illustration 9.3) on the ashtray body and remove it.

The ashtray is installed in the reverse order of removal.
