Front Center Console — Removal and Installation (Mercedes-Benz A-Class W168)

1. Remove the rear part of the center console, see the relevant chapter.

2. Remove the center console cover, see the relevant chapter.

3. Remove the lower cover 1 of the center console by unscrewing one bolt 2 on the left and right sides (see illustration). After this, move the cover back and release it from the fasteners 3.

4. Remove the lower cover 1 of the center console by unscrewing one bolt on the left and right sides.

Attention! The illustration shows the cover with the rear part of the 4 central console not removed (see illustration 6.3).


5. Unscrew the four bolts securing the center console above the heater switch block. Remove the bolts together with the washers.

6. Unscrew one bolt at the bottom on the left and right sides.

7. Remove the lower part of the center console and release it from the upper brackets.

8. Remove the center console.

The console is installed in the reverse order of removal.
