Removal
6. Remove the glove box, see the relevant chapter.
7. Remove the metal latch on the left side of the cover.
8. Unscrew the socket head screw on the same side and remove the retainer.
9. Remove the lid stopper.
10. Carefully release cover 1 from the latches on the hinges 2 and remove it (see illustration).
The cover is installed in the reverse order of removal.
11. Replace the metal latch with a new one.
