Removal



1. Lift up the cover 1 by hand or pry it up with a plastic wedge and remove it, releasing it from the fasteners 2 on the center console (see illustration).

2. Disconnect the multi-pin plug 3 (see illustration).

3. Turn the clamp of the head 4 of the gear shift lever in the direction of the arrow (see illustration 8.2) and unfix it.

4. Remove the head from the lever.

5. Remove the cover from the lever.

Install the gear shift lever boot in the reverse order of removal.

6. Fasten the cover to the center console. The clips should click into place.
