Removal

1. Disconnect the ground (-) wire terminal from the negative battery terminal, after turning off the ignition.

If the radio has an access code, make sure that the code is written down before disconnecting the battery so that it can be entered into the radio later.

If the code is unknown, the radio receiver can be turned on by a specialized workshop or its manufacturer.

Attention! The speaker unit on the front doors should be replaced as a set if necessary.

2. Remove the front door trim, see the relevant chapter.

3. Disconnect the speaker power plug 1 (see illustration).

4. Release the high-tone speaker 4 from the door trim and remove it (see illustration 36.3).

5. Remove the three 2 socket head screws and remove the subwoofer (see illustration 36.3).

Installation

6. Install the subwoofer and secure it with three screws.

7. Connect the speaker plug.

8. Check the condition of the fasteners that secure the speaker to the door trim and, if necessary, replace damaged ones with new ones.

9. Insert the tweeter into the hole on the door trim and fix it.

10. Replace the door trim, see the relevant chapter.

11. Connect the negative (-) terminal of the battery cable to the negative terminal.

12. Set the clock.

13. Enter the security code into the radio receiver.
