612 Series Engine Intake Port Shutoff Motor Installation Details


1. The installation details of the intake port shut-off motor on the 612 series engines are shown in the illustration to which all references in the text refer.

2. Remove the air distributor.

3. On models with manual transmission, remove the left front wheel.

4. On models with manual transmission, remove the wheel arch protection liner.

5. Remove the bolts (1).

6. Release the lock and separate the spacer (3) from the ball head (2).

7. Disconnect the contact connector (4) of the electric motor wiring (M55).

8. Remove the electric motor assembly (M55) from the air distribution pipe (5).

9. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

10. Finally, clear the memory of the on-board diagnostic module (see Chapter Engine electrical systems).
