Installation details of low-temperature cooler on diesel models with M612 engine
1 - Air intake sleeve; 2, 3 - Cooling tract hoses; 4 - Cooling tract overflow line; 5 - Auxiliary fans; 6 - Low temperature cooler; 7 - Upper front cross member


1. Low temperature cooler is installed on diesel models equipped with 612 series engine.

2. Jack up the car and place it on supports.

3. Remove the crankcase guard.

4. Drain the cooling system (see Chapter Routine care and maintenance).

5. Remove the front decorative grille (see Chapter Body).

6. Remove the air intake sleeve (1).

7. Remove the upper front cross member (7) and move it to the side without removing the bonnet lock.

8. Disconnect the cooling system hoses (2 and 3) - if necessary, prepare replacement clamps.

9. Disconnect the overflow line (4) of the cooling system.

10. Remove the auxiliary fan assembly (5) (see Section Removal and installation the auxiliary fan assembly).

11. Remove the low temperature cooler assembly (6) by pulling forward and then pushing upward.

12. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

13. Finally, check the cooling system for signs of developing leaks and clear the memory of the on-board diagnostic system processor (see Chapter Engine electrical systems).
