Removal
Removal the pivot pin of the shoe of the double-row chain tensioning mechanism using an inertia hammer

1. Remove the drive chain cover.
2. Remove the camshaft sprocket.
3. Drill a 5.5mm diameter hole along the pivot pin axis, then cut an M6 thread in the hole to a depth of 10mm.
4. Screw an M6 bolt into the hinge pin and, using an inertia hammer with an adapter, remove the hinge pin by the head of the bolt (see picture).
5. Remove the tensioner shoe.
Examination
1. Inspect the shoe for excessive wear, damage or cracks and replace if necessary.
Installation
1. Install the tensioner shoe into place and secure it with a new pivot pin.
2. Install the camshaft sprocket.
3. Install the drive chain cover.
