Removal
Location of the stabilizer bar mounting clamp mounting bolts

1. Raise the rear of the vehicle and support it on stands.
2. Unscrew the nuts securing the stabilizer earrings to the anti-roll bar.
3. Mark the relative positions of the bushings and the anti-roll bar, then unscrew the two bolts securing the stabilizer mounting clamps and remove the clamps (see picture). Mark the location and remove the rubber pads from the anti-roll bar. Remove the anti-roll bar. To do this, you may need to disconnect the propeller shaft from the rear final drive and loosen the bolts securing the propeller shaft center bearing housing.
4. Use a jack to support the lower frame of the rear suspension through a wooden block.
5. Remove the bolts securing the rear suspension lower frame to the body and carefully lower the lower frame and remove the anti-roll bar.
Caution: On models with anti-lock brakes, be careful not to damage the rear sensor wires when lowering the lower frame.
Installation
1. Place the stabilizer bar in place and bolt it to the stabilizer bar earrings.
2. If necessary, lift the lower rear suspension frame into place and secure with bolts, tightening them to the required torque. Connect the propeller shaft to the rear final drive and tighten the propeller shaft center bearing bracket bolts.
3. Install the rubber pads on the stabilizer bar according to the marks so that the cuts on the rubber pads are directed towards the front of the car. Install the mounting clamps on the stabilizer bar rubber pads and secure them with new bolts, without tightening the bolts completely.
4. Screw in the new anti-roll bar mounting nuts to the clevises and tighten them to the specified torque. Tighten the anti-roll bar mounting clamp mounting bolts to the specified torque.
5. Install the rear wheels, then lower the vehicle to the ground and tighten the wheel bolts to the specified torque.
