Automatic transmission pan (cars with engines 111,601,970,611,980)
Removal
1. Drain the transmission fluid.
2. Remove cap 5 from the windshield washer reservoir (only on engines 111 and 601) (see figure 6.55).

6. Water drainage.
3. Remove the water drain 6 from the windshield washer reservoir.

4. Wipe the surfaces around the pan and remove tensioner 2.
5. Remove pan 3 together with gasket 4. Replace gasket 4.
Installation
6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Make sure that gasket 4 is installed correctly.
Automatic transmission pan (cars with engine 104.900)
Removal
1. Drain the transmission fluid.
2. Unscrew the 3 bolts securing the pan (see figure 6.56).

Installation
4. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Replace gasket 2.
