Removing
1. Turn off the ignition.
2. Drain the coolant.
3. Loosen the pan mounting bolts. Make sure the pan gasket is not damaged. If necessary, replace it.
4. Remove flywheel/drive plate 1 (see fig.5.33).

5. Remove the rear cover together with the gland 2.
Installation
6. Installation is made in an order, the return to removal. Wipe the sealing surfaces. Do not lubricate or apply sealant. Install the cover 2 on the crankshaft 5 so that the guide bushings 6 fit into the guide holes.
