Central lock switch (Mercedes-Benz Vito W638)

0
Central lock switch

The switch is located in the middle of the instrument panel. With the doors and tailgate closed:
  • locking the car doors and the trunk door - you need to press the central lock switch from above (the control LED on the switch is on). If the indicator light on the switch is flashing, at least one door is not closed properly. The closed doors are blocked. An incorrectly closed door does not lock automatically when it is closed again (device for protection against the danger of being left outside);
  • unlocking the car doors and the boot lid - you need to press the central lock switch from below or open one door from the inside (the control LED on the switch goes out).

Remote radio control device

1. Unlock button.

1. Unlock button.
2. Control LED.

Locking the car with the remote control device - insert the key.

Unlocking the vehicle with the remote control - remove the key and press the unlock button on the key. When the key is inserted and removed, the battery charging indicator light comes on. If the control LED no longer lights up, the batteries must be replaced immediately.

Attention! The radio remote control device works regardless of direction. It does not have to be aimed at the car. The range of the remote control device sensors is about 10 m with new batteries. Successful locking can be monitored by the sound of the locking signal or by the appearance of a white field on the inner handle. Accidentally removing the key near the vehicle may cause the vehicle to unlock.
