When the key is turned in the lock of the door or trunk, the pressure pump in the pneumatic control unit starts to rotate. Depending on the direction the key is turned in the lock, the pump rotates to the right or left and produces a vacuum or increased pressure. Pressure is transmitted through hoses to individual functional elements, as a result, individual locks are opened or blocked.
