Central lock actuator — replacement (Mercedes-Benz A-Class W168)

The actuator of the central lock on the front door is built into the lock. If it is defective, for example, if it is not tight, the door lock should be replaced as a set together with the actuator.

1. Remove the door lock 1, see the relevant chapter, and check the operation of actuator 2 (see illustration).



To do this, connect a regular vacuum pump to fitting 3 instead of the low-pressure hose.
