Front axle
The design of the executive cylinder of the front axle differential blocking drive
1 - Pressure sensor-switch; 2 - Cover; 3 - Cylinder; 4 - Springs; 5 - Piston; 6 - Rod; 7 - Lever; 8 - Compression spring; 9 - O-ring; 10 - duster
1. Remove pressure switch (1).
2. Unscrew the cover (2).
3. Remove the piston (5) with springs (4).
4. Unbolt the stem (6) from the lever (7) and remove together with the compression spring (8).
5. Thoroughly wipe the removed components, replace defective parts.
6. After lubricating the sliding surfaces with a light silicone grease such as Molykote 44, place the compression spring on the stem (8). Use Loctite 241 to lubricate the stem threads.
7. Fill the stock (6) complete with compression spring (8) into a cylinder (3) and screw it into the lever (7).
8. Install a NEW o-ring (9) and a NEW boot (10).
9. Fill the piston into the cylinder (5) with springs (4).
10. Screw on the cover (2).
11. Install pressure switch (1).
Rear axle
The design of the slave cylinder of the rear axle differential locking drive
1 - Pressure sensor-switch; 2 - Cylinder casing; 3 - Switching lever; 4 - Spring sensor-switch; 5 - Stock; 6 - Return spring; 7 - Washer; 8 - Retaining ring; 9 - Compression spring; 10 - Anther; 11 - Sealing element; 12 - Pistons; 13 - Sealing gasket; 14 - Cover; 15 - Bolts; 16 - bleed valve
1. Remove pressure switch (1).
2. Remove the bolts (15) and remove the cover (14), - prepare the replacement gasket (13).
3. Remove the piston (12) with compression spring (9), - prepare replacement sealing element (10) and anther (11).
4. Turn out the stem (5) from the lever (3) and release both elements, as well as the spring of the sensor-switch (4) from the cylinder casing (2).
5. Disassemble the stem (5), - to facilitate the procedure, screw the lever onto the rod (3) and clamp it in a vise with soft jaws.
6. Thoroughly wipe the removed components, replace defective parts.
7. Assemble the stem, - retaining ring (8) should be securely fixed in the receiving groove.
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order - NEW sealing elements must be lubricated with silicone grease before installation. For lubricating the threaded part of the stem (5) use Loctite 270 grease (order 10 material).
