The central locking system locks all doors, including the tailgate, as well as the fuel filler flap, using the key in the lock of one door or using the remote control.

Cars with central locking without remote control

The front door is unlocked with a key. When the lock switch (cylinder) is turned, a microswitch on the door sends a signal to the central lock control unit, which is located on the instrument panel.

After receiving the signal, the central lock pump in the trunk is activated and the pneumatic actuators on the locks of all doors close or open all locks simultaneously.

Cars with remote control

The doors are locked by pressing the button on the remote control.

When the central locking control unit, which is located in the driver's side footwell next to the steering column, receives a signal from the receiver in the ignition switch, the central locking pump in the boot is activated and the pneumatic actuators on all door locks close or open all locks simultaneously.

Please note: Vehicles with central locking via remote control do not have microswitches on the doors.

Automatic door locking. Only vehicles with remote control

The doors are locked automatically at a speed of 35 kilometers per hour. At the same time, the central lock pump in the trunk is activated and the pneumatic actuators on the locks of all doors close or open all the locks simultaneously.

The automatic door locking mode is switched off using the central locking switch in the passenger compartment when the ignition is on.

First, the doors should be locked with the switch, and then opened by continuing to hold the switch in the "open" position for at least another 5 seconds.

Automatic mode is activated by pressing the switch and holding it in this position for at least 5 seconds.

The central locking switch is located on the center console.

The door locks are locked automatically even if, after unlocking them, after 40 seconds, none of the doors are opened, or the key is not inserted into the ignition switch, or the central locking switch in the car is not operated.
