Removal
1. Move both front seats forward and tilt their seatbacks forward.
2. Lift the armrest up.
3. Remove cup holder 1 by pushing it upwards (see illustration).
4. Remove the 2 armrest trim from the rear of the center console (see illustration 22.3).
5. Separate both halves of the cladding 2 along the connecting joint and remove them by moving them in the direction of the arrows, as shown in Illustration 22.3.

6. Mark the mounting position of bolts 3 by tracing their heads with a felt-tip pen. Unscrew bolts 3 securing armrest support 4 and remove it from the rear of the center console 5 (see illustration).
The armrest is installed in the reverse order of removal.
