The key in the ignition lock can occupy the following position:
0 - Ignition off.
1 - Steering is unlocked with the ignition and the following electrical circuits on:
- windshield washers,
- headlight wipers (only when low or high beam is on),
- light and sound signals,
- cigarette lighter,
- glove box light,
- radio,
- Luke,
- rear window heater
- window regulator,
- front seat adjustment
- heated seats.
2 - Ignition on. All electrical circuits are energized, control lamps and diesel engine pre-heating system are working. This key position is normal when driving and towing the vehicle.
3 - Starting the engine with a starter. Release the key immediately after starting the engine.
After removing the key from the ignition lock, the steering locks.
Attention! It is strictly forbidden to set the key to position 0 while the vehicle is moving.
To unlock the steering column, insert the key into the ignition lock and slightly turning the steering wheel to the right or left, turn the key in the ignition lock to position 1.
