Fastening seat belts

Do not use a seat belt on a child sitting on a passenger's lap.
To unfasten the seat belt, press button 3 to open the lock.
When fastening the front seat belt, position the belt so that the top of the belt passes over the middle of your shoulder.
Use button 4 of the retractor to adjust the position of the seat belt.
Attention! For trouble-free operation of the tensioner, keep the seat belts clean. If the buckles or tensioner are damaged, replace the straps.
Attention! Belts that have been severely stretched in an accident should be replaced.
Attention! When exposed to sunlight and chemicals, the belt tape loses its strength. Loss of original color (fading) the belt should be replaced.
Attention! Wash belts in mild soapy water only. Dry the belts thoroughly before retracting them.
Attention! It is forbidden to treat the belt braid with chemical compounds, tint them or discolor them. The compounds will weaken the belt. A belt that is discolored or chemically weakened should be replaced.
Front seat belt tensioner
The front seat belt tensioner is designed to instantly eliminate slack in the seat belt in the event of a sudden frontal collision. The tensioning mechanism is automatically activated in a frontal collision above a certain force. Minor collisions, including side and rear impacts, will not activate the belt tensioner.
