Removal



1. Disconnect the wiring connector from the needle travel sensor and fuel injection timing device.

2. Loosen the compressed air supply pipe from the intake manifold and remove it.

3. Unscrew the 8 fuel pipe brackets from the intake manifold (figure 2.82).

4. Disconnect the fuel delivery pipes 1 from the injector holders.

5. Disconnect the fuel drain pipes 9 from the injector holders.

6. Loosen tension cams 6 and remove them together with clamp 5, spherical washer 4 and bolt 3 (figure 2.83).

7. Remove the injector holders 2 together with the seals 7.

Installation



8. Replace seal 7, clamp 5, spherical washer 4 and bolt 3 (figure 2.84).

9. Insert tension cams 6 with a new spherical washer 4, with a clamp 5 and bolt 3; tighten the bolt to 7 Nm + 180°.
