Sequence of work
Pic. 6.3. Visual inspection of the hydraulic clutch. The arrow indicates the location of the brake fluid leaks
1. Inspect the master cylinder (behind the clutch pedal) and working cylinder (on the gearbox) for signs of brake fluid leakage. Such marks on the working cylinder (arrow) (pic. 6.3) indicate a malfunction in the hydraulic system.
2. If there are leaks of brake fluid on the working cylinder, wipe them thoroughly to determine the origin later. After the trip, find out exactly where the fluid is leaking from.
3. If the clutch hydraulic cylinders themselves are leaking, they must be replaced.
