1. Inspect the master cylinder (behind the clutch pedal) and the working cylinder (on the gearbox) for traces of brake fluid leakage. Such traces on the working cylinder (arrow) (Fig. 6.3) indicate a malfunction of the hydraulic drive system.
2. If you find brake fluid leaks on the slave cylinder, wipe them off thoroughly to determine their origin later. After driving, find out where exactly the fluid is leaking from.
3. If the hydraulic clutch cylinders themselves are not sealed, they must be replaced.
