Sequence of work
1. Check fuse #19.
2. Take out from latches an upholstery of the right and left back racks. Approximately 20 cm from the bottom corners on each side are the connection connectors.
3. Check the reliability of these connectors. If there is voltage on the black wire, but the glass is not heated, there is no contact with «weight». Check connector and wiring.
4. Remove the on/off heater switch from the instrument panel and use a probe to check for voltage with the ignition on on the black-yellow-green wire. Is voltage applied to the black wire when the switch is turned on?
5. Check if the voltage is supplied to the relay from the contact «30» to contact «87». To do this, remove the relay and install a jumper. If the heater starts to work, the combi-relay is defective. Replace the combi relay or install an additional separate relay in the heater circuit.
6. If the heater filaments are damaged by sharp objects on the rear shelf (for example, if only some of them work), conductive silver lacquer, such as Doduco brand, can be used for repairs (available in retail).
