Location of the lower support of the rear shock absorber

Location of the lower support of the rear shock absorber

1. Loosen the nut (1), then remove the plate (2) with the rubber bushing (3) and release the shock absorber from the upper support bracket (4).

2. Remove the holder (5 and 8), rubber bearing (6) and spacer sleeve (7) from the shock absorber.

3. Loosen the nut, remove the bolt (arrow) and remove the shock absorber from the lower support.

4. Assess the condition of the rubber components and replace any defective elements.

5. Inspect the shock absorber for signs of leaks through the working rod seals; if necessary, prepare replacement assemblies.

6. Installation is carried out in the reverse order. Make sure that the fasteners are tightened with the required force.
