Attention! Suspension springs must be replaced in pairs for each axle!
1. If equipped, disconnect the brake pressure regulator rod from the rear axle housing (see resist. illustration - models without EBV).
2. Disconnect the diagonal suspension bar from the frame.
3. Disconnect the vent line.
4. Support the front wheels with wheel chocks, jack up the rear axle, then place jack stands under the trailing arm brackets.
5. Loosen the nuts and remove the bolts of the lower shock absorber supports (see Section Removing, checking and installing rear shock absorbers).
6. Lower the bridge and remove the helical suspension springs - try not to pinch the brake lines when lowering the bridge.
7. If necessary, remove the rubber buffers.
8. Installation is carried out in the reverse order - make sure that the ends of the spring bars rest against the special protrusions of the lower plates.
Note. Replacement springs must be color coded the same as the original.
