Location of TSZ ignition system components
1 - switch
2 — diagnostic socket

Location of the switch (A) and diagnostic connector (B) of the TSZ ignition system
Like a conventional ignition distributor, the electromagnetic distributor has a centrifugal and vacuum regulator; vacuum regulation is achieved by moving the screen magnet with the teeth assembly.
The switch is mounted on the mudguard on an aluminum lining, which provides cooling.
The switch is used to convert the pulse generator signal into a control signal.
It includes a signal generator for the sensor-distributor, a constant voltage controller, an output amplifier consisting of a Darlington transistor and a time sensor.
The ignition coil is mounted next to the control unit.
Pneumatic control system for vacuum regulation of ignition timing on the TSZ ignition system distributor sensor depending on the coolant temperature on a cold engine

When the coolant temperature is less than 60°C, thermostatic valve 5 is closed and the vacuum from carburetor 1 enters regulator 4 through valve 3, thereby providing additional correction of the ignition timing by 8–12*.
