2. Inspect the disc, deep scuff marks are not allowed and the disc needs to be processed.
3. Make sure the thickness of the disc is correct for the application.
4. Check the axial runout of the disc, which should not exceed 0.12 mm.
5. If necessary, remove the front wheel hub (see Removal, installation and adjustment of a nave and bearings of forward wheels).
6. Screw two bolts into the hub and clamp the assembly in a vise with the brake disc up.
7. Use a wrench to unscrew the bolts and separate the brake disc from the hub.
Note. Before installation, clean the mating surfaces. New discs have an anti-corrosion paint coating that must be removed with a solvent before installing the disc.
8. Install a new one (restored) disc on the hub, tighten the new bolts evenly.
9. Install hub and caliper (see Removal, installation and adjustment of a nave and bearings of forward wheels and Removal, disassembly and installation of the brake caliper).
Note. The brake disc of the rear wheels is mounted on the flange of the drive shaft, while making sure that it fits on the small pin.
