Removal



1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.

2. Remove the mixing chamber with the EGR valve.

3. Remove the decorative panel of the cylinder head cover 8 (see figure 5.67).

4. Disconnect wiring connectors 9 from injectors Y20-Y23.

5. Disconnect the fuel lines 7.

6. Disconnect the oil drain line 3 by releasing the retainer 2. After removal, retainer 2 must be replaced.

7. Remove the Y84 throttle body vacuum converter from the bracket. Do not disconnect the vacuum tube or connections.

8. Remove the tensioner cam 4 injectors Y20-Y23.

9. Remove injectors Y20-Y23.

10. Wipe the injectors 1 and the holes for the injectors in the cylinder head. Wipe the injector seats with a clean, lint-free cloth.



Installation



11. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Replace seals 5 and bolts 10.
