Removal



1. Remove the retaining ring 1 (figure 4.74).

2. Remove gear wheel 2 from secondary shaft 18.

3. Remove 1st gear pinion 3 and needle bearing 4 from secondary shaft 18.

4. Remove the inner ring 5, ring 6 and outer conical ring 7 for engaging 1st gear.

5. Remove the synchronizer clutch 8.

6. Remove crackers 12 and springs 11.

7. Remove retaining ring 9.

8. Remove synchronizer hub 10.

9. Remove the outer conical ring 13, ring 14 and inner conical ring 15 for engaging 2nd gear.

10. Remove 2nd gear gear 16 and needle bearing 17 from secondary shaft 18.

Installation



11. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
