Removal



1. Unscrew bolt 6 (figure 4.75).

2. Remove the gear shift housing 3.

3. Remove cover 5.

Disassembly



4. Remove the neutral position sensor 5 and the reversing light switch 8 (figure 4.76).

5. Remove the rubber boot 1.

6. Remove retaining ring 2.

7. Remove shift lever 3 and bearing 4.

8. Remove the shift pipe 9 and remove the bushing 7.

9. Unscrew bolt 11 and disconnect sleeve 17.

10. Move sleeve 15 back and remove balls 16.

11. Remove bushing 15 and springs 13 and 14.

Assembly



12. Assembly is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly.

Installation



13. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
