Removal
1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery.
2. Remove the gear shift lever 1 (figure 4.4).
3. Remove the engine protective cover.
4. Unscrew the bolts securing the propeller shaft 2 to the gearbox.
5. Unscrew the bolts securing the intermediate bearing 3 of the cardan shaft.
6. Support the engine by placing a wooden block between the pan and the cross member.
7. Unscrew nut 4 securing the gearbox bracket.
8. Remove the rear cross member 5 of the engine.
9. Unscrew the bolts securing the clutch slave cylinder 6 and remove it together with the gaskets 6a, without disconnecting the hydraulic lines.
10. Disconnect wire 7 with the wiring connector from the reversing light switch.
11. Remove the non-twisting seal and the speedometer pulse generator 8.
12. Unscrew the bolts 9 securing the gearbox to the engine and disconnect the ground wire.
13. Gently lift gearbox 10 using a lift, move it back and remove it.
Installation
14. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal. Check the gearbox oil level. Manual transmission oil capacity: 2.2 l. Oil classification: SAE 75 W85.
