The gear shift pattern is indicated on the lever.

The gear shift pattern is indicated on the lever.

Reverse gear can only be engaged after the vehicle has stopped and the engine is idling.

Caution! If reverse gear is engaged at high speed, this may result in the engine overspeeding and damage to the engine.

When parking, apply the parking brake, engage first or reverse gear. If the car is on a slope, turn the wheels toward the curb.

Automatic clutch

When the ignition key is in position 2, the clutch is engaged and disengaged automatically when starting off, changing gears and when stopping. There is no clutch pedal.

To avoid inadvertently pressing the brake pedal with your left foot, it is recommended that you operate the gas and brake pedals only with your right foot.

The gear engaged is indicated on the instrument cluster display.

If the letter F appears on the display, this indicates a malfunction of the automatic clutch control unit. In this case, the engine can only be started when the brake pedal is pressed. In such cases, it is recommended to immediately contact a workshop.

The gearbox can be shifted when the key is in the ignition switch in position 0 or when the key is removed from the switch and the brake pedal is depressed.

Moving off

1. Press the brake pedal, engage 1st or reverse gear.

2. Release the parking brake.

3. Release the brake pedal and press the accelerator pedal.

Attention! If the start of movement is performed in a high gear (3, 4 or 5th), then the car will jerk.

Gear shifting

4. Release the accelerator pedal.

5. Engage the desired gear.

6. Press the accelerator pedal.

Maneuvering in confined spaces.

When driving in a confined space, regulate your speed using the brake pedal. Use the accelerator pedal sparingly.

Stop

When stopping, the transmission does not have to be disengaged. Keep the vehicle from moving forward or rolling backwards using the brake pedal or the parking brake.

Parking

7. With the vehicle stopped and the engine running, engage 1st gear.

8. Apply the parking brake.

9. Remove the key from the ignition switch by turning it to position 0.

Warning! If the car is moving, the ignition key must not be turned to position 1 or 0, because the clutch is engaged and the car is braked.

When the engine is running and the gear is engaged, an audible signal sounds if none of the pedals are pressed and the doors are open.
