Reverse gear can only be engaged after the vehicle has stopped and the engine is idling.
Attention! If the reverse gear is engaged at a high speed, this can lead to an overspeed of the engine and damage to it.
When parking, apply the parking brake, engage first or reverse gear. If the vehicle is on a slope, turn the wheels towards the curb.
Automatic clutch
With the ignition key in position 2, the clutch is engaged and disengaged when starting, shifting gears and stopping automatically. The clutch pedal is missing.
To avoid unintentional pressing of the brake pedal with the left foot, it is recommended to operate the gas and brake pedals only with the right foot.
The selected gear is indicated on the instrument panel display.
If the letter F appears on the display, this indicates a malfunction of the automatic clutch control unit. In this case, the engine can only be started when the brake pedal is depressed. In such cases, it is recommended to immediately contact the workshop.
Gear shifting is possible with the key in the ignition lock in position 0 or with the key removed from the lock, if the brake pedal is depressed.
Starting off
1. Depress the brake pedal, engage 1st or reverse gear.
2. Release the parking brake.
3. Release the brake pedal and press the accelerator pedal.
Attention! If the start of the movement is carried out in high gear (3rd, 4th or 5th), then the car will twitch.
Gear shift
4. Release the accelerator pedal.
5. Engage the desired gear.
6. Press the accelerator pedal.
Maneuvering in a limited space.
When driving in confined spaces, adjust your speed with the brake pedal. Almost do not use the accelerator pedal.
Stop
When performing a stop, the transmission can not be turned off. Hold the vehicle from moving forward or rolling backward with the brake pedal or parking brake.
Parking
7. Engage 1st gear with the vehicle stopped and the engine running.
8. Apply the parking brake.
9. Remove the key from the ignition by turning it to position 0.
Attention! If the vehicle is moving, the ignition key must not be turned to position 1 or 0 because the clutch engages and the vehicle brakes.
With the engine running and in gear, an audible signal sounds if none of the pedals are depressed and the doors are open.
