- 1 - enable the speed limiter. The increase in speed is carried out in steps of 10 km/h
- 2 - enable the speed limiter. Speed reduction is carried out in steps of 10 km/h
- 3 - turn off the speed limiter. The set travel speed is stored in memory
- 4 - return to the speed limiter stored in the memory. Upward speed adjustment is performed in 1 km/h increments
- 5 - switching to tempomat / speed limiter. Speedtronic is on when the indicator light on the cruise control lever is on and the LIM signal on the speedometer is on. When switching to the tempomat, the signal light does not light up
Switching/Activation
1. Start the engine. With the engine running, you can enter a limit for any speed over 30 kilometers per hour.
2. Switch from cruise control to Speedtronic. The indicator light on the tempomat lever should come on. If necessary, push the lever in the direction of arrow 5.
3. Press the cruise control lever in the direction of arrows 1,2 or 4.
Speedtronic is on, as indicated by LIM on the speedometer, and the set speed limit is displayed on the instrument panel display.
Switching the cruise control lever in the direction of arrow 1 will switch on the speed at which the vehicle was moving before the Speedtronic was switched off. Subsequent depressing or holding the lever in the direction of arrow 1 results in a stepwise increase in speed of 10 kilometers per hour.
Switching the cruise control lever in the direction of arrow 2 activates the speed at which the vehicle was moving before the Speedtronic was switched off. Subsequent depressing or holding the lever in the direction of arrow 2 results in a stepwise decrease in speed of 10 kilometers per hour.
Switching the cruise control lever in the direction of arrow 4 switches on the speed at which the vehicle was moving before the Speedtronic was switched off, if the current speed does not exceed it by more than 30 kilometers per hour.
Subsequent depressing or holding the lever in the direction of arrow 4 results in a stepwise increase in speed of 1 kilometer per hour.
The Speedtronic is switched off by retracting the lever in the direction of arrow 3 or 5. The LIM indicator in the speedometer goes out. If the lever is retracted in the direction of arrow 5, the signal light on the cruise control lever goes out.
Speedtronic is also switched off if, with the accelerator pedal in the kick-down position, the speed does not deviate from the set speed by more than 20 kilometers per hour.
Attention! If the Speedtronic does not comply with the speed limit, for example when driving downhill, an acoustic signal sounds and the set speed limit flashes on the instrument panel display.
