Disassembly



1. Remove the gearbox.

2. Remove the secondary and intermediate shafts.

3. Disassemble the rear part of the gearbox housing.

4. Loosen and unscrew plug 11 (figure 4.80). Remove spring 12 and thrust piece 13 from the gearbox housing.

5. Remove the fuse block 10 from the gearbox housing (figure 4.81).

6. Remove plunger 14 from the gearbox housing (figure 4.82).

7. Using a punch, remove cover 15 from the gearbox housing (figure 4.83).

8. Remove drive shaft 23 and needle bearing 26 from gearbox housing 31. Press out cover 15 through the hole in the gearbox housing using a punch (figure 4.84).

9. Unscrew the threaded sleeve 32 from the gearbox housing and remove the spring 33 (figure 4.85).

10. Remove the engagement lever 15. Remove the gear 25, engagement clutch 24 and thrust gasket 27 from the gearbox housing. Remove the inner bearing ring 28 (figure 4.86).

Remove the inner ring of bearing 28.


11. Remove the engagement fork 30 from the gearbox housing (figure 4.87).

12. Remove the outer ring of the cylindrical roller bearing 28.2 using a puller and a support (figure 4.88).

Assembly



13. Installation is carried out in order. reverse removal. Adjust the axial clearances of the intermediate and secondary shafts.
