Removal
1. Disconnect the propeller shaft 1 from the power take-off box (figure 4.96).

2. Remove the output flange 4 of the power take-off box. To do this:
- unscrew bolt 14 and remove pressure plate 13;
- remove flange 11 using a puller (figure 4.97).

3. Remove the radial oil seal 5. Do not damage the gearbox housing.
Installation
4. Check the sealing surfaces of the gearbox cover for damage and replace it if necessary.
5. Insert the seal using a punch until it stops.
6. Install the outlet flange 4.
7. Connect the cardan shaft 1 to the power take-off box.
