Replacing the headlight housing (Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 903)

Since replacing headlights always involves their subsequent adjustment, the operations described below take into account the mandatory adjustment of headlights after their replacement. The headlight housing must be replaced as follows:

• disconnect the negative terminal from the battery;

• open the hood and unscrew the radiator grille mounting bolts in the places shown in the figure 320. Remove the radiator grille;
• unscrew the direction indicator mount and remove them outward;
• disconnect the wiring harness connector from the back of the headlight;
• disconnect the corrector vacuum hose;

• unscrew the ones shown in the picture 321 fastening bolts and pull out the headlight forward.

Installation should be carried out in reverse order. After installation, check the headlight adjustment.
