Additionally, a pneumatic headlight range adjuster can be installed. The adjustment is made using a rotary switch next to the light switch, depending on the degree of loading of the vehicle and whether the load is distributed evenly or predominantly on the rear axle. Since the adjustment parameters vary among models, please refer to the operating instructions. If there is no instruction, contact a specialized service station for clarification. The corrector uses a vacuum drive. To ensure that the pressure remains constant at any rotation speed, the vacuum system is equipped with an expansion tank. To prevent pressure drop in the system there is a check valve. The pressure is adjusted by turning a switch on the instrument panel, which activates the regulators in the headlights. The maximum stroke of the regulators is 3 mm.
