Headlight adjustment (Mercedes-Benz E-Class W210)

Sequence of works





1. The headlight range control knob must be in the "0" position.

2. The adjusting screws are located in the engine compartment.

3. Turn on the ignition and low beam.

4. First, turn the height adjustment screw (closer to the outer side of the car) ensure that the low beam light spot with its horizontal light-shadow boundary coincides with line E (Fig. 9.23).

5. By turning the side adjustment screw (closer to the inside of the car) ensure that the break point of the low beam headlights is exactly under the adjustment crosses. In this case, the break beam can be located 15% above the line.

6. When adjusting, the high beam is also automatically set.
