1. Open the cover at the bottom of the bumper at the level of the fog light. To do this, move the two rotary holders so that the cover drops down (Fig. 9.20).
2. Press the clip on the headlight housing and remove the cover.
3. Release the lamp clamp from the hook and remove the plug from the lamp.
4. Remove the lamp.
5. Install the new lamp so that its base fits neatly into the socket.
Timely replacement of incandescent lamps
A dimly lit lamp indicates that its bulb is heavily contaminated. This most often happens with the license plate light. In this case, the lamp should be replaced. If the lamp burns out after a long period of service, replace the working one on the other side at the same time: experience shows that it will also fail soon.
