Pic. 9.15. For the E-class headlights, Hella has developed a design with a plastic lens that can be replaced for the first time. Compared to the glass version, the new design has reduced the weight by 1.5 kg
Headlights differ not only externally (slightly oval), but also constructively. The four-headlight arrangement made it possible to separate the dipped and main beams. Both external large E-class headlights are responsible for the dipped beam and turn signals, the smaller diameter headlights are responsible for the high beam and parking light. Fog lights are located in the bumper trim (pic. 9.15).
