Replacing the bulb in the rear light (Mercedes-Benz E-Class W210)

When replacing the rear fog lights and the reversing light located in the trunk lid (Fig. 9.24), follow paragraphs 2–4.

Sequence of works





1. Open the trunk, open the plug in the trunk trim that covers the rear light.

2. Turn the lamp holder counterclockwise (to the left) and remove it from the flashlight housing (Fig. 9.25).

3. Press the bulb in the socket down a little, turn to the left (counterclockwise) and remove it from the socket.

4. When installing, make sure that the chuck engages clearly when turned clockwise (to the right).
