Fig. 9.27. To replace the additional brake light bulb, virtually no tools are required. On new E-class models, the additional brake light has LEDs, which are also easy to replace
1. Press the latches on the right and left and remove the outer casing. On the T-model, remove the door trim (Fig. 9.27).
2. Press the latch on the reflector and remove the reflector.
3. Press the lamp down slightly in the socket and turn it to the left (counterclockwise) and remove it from the socket.
4. When installing, make sure that the lamp is securely engaged when turned clockwise (to the right).
