Front seats

General information

The seat should be set in a position that provides the driver with maximum comfort when operating the pedals, steering wheel and switches on the instrument panel. In addition, a good view through the windshield and reliable fixation of the driver's body with a seat belt should be ensured.

The rear of the central console is equipped with an adjustable folding armrest for the front seats, or an armrest combined with the lid of the console storage compartment.

Seat adjustments must be made before driving.

The use of any additional pillows or other objects placed on the seat cushion or back is not permitted.

Remember that excessively reclining the seat back significantly reduces the effectiveness of the seat belt!

The mechanical seat position control elements are located in front under the cushion (seat longitudinal adjustment lever) and from the outside of the cushion/backrest (adjustment of pillow, back and headrest). The procedures for removing and installing the front head restraints are described in Section Interior controls and equipment.

Pull the control lever (1) located at the front under the seat cushion towards you and move the seat assembly to the desired position. Once you have finished adjusting, release the lever and make sure the seat is securely locked by moving it forward and backward with the lever released.

The seat position in the vertical plane is adjusted using the lever (2). Lift the lever up or press it down - the seat will move to one fixed position in the corresponding direction.

The angle of the cushion is selected by rotating the outwardly extended handle (3), located on the outer side of the seat. The depth of the cushion deflection is adjusted by rotating the inwardly pressed handle.

The backrest tilt is adjusted using the inward-pressed rotary handle (4), mounted in the outer side wall of the backrest. By pulling the same handle outward, you can adjust the tilt of the headrest.

The adjustable front seat centre armrest has five fixed positions

1 - Armrest is fully lowered
2 - The armrest occupies one of three intermediate positions
3 - Armrest fully raised

If equipped, the position of the central armrest of the front seats can also be adjusted. The armrest has five fixed positions.

Please note! Alternatively, instead of the adjustable armrest, a folding armrest-cover of the console storage compartment can be installed (see section Interior controls and equipment)

The electric drive design allows flexible adjustments of up to six seat parameters - use the appropriate section of the switch
A — Adjusting the seat position in longitudinal and vertical directions
B — Adjusting the seat assembly angle
C — Seat depth adjustment
D — Seat backrest tilt adjustment
E — Headrest height adjustment (the headrest tilt is adjusted manually)

The switches for adjusting the front seats are located on the corresponding doors of the car. The electric drive can only operate in positions 1 and 2 of the ignition switch, as well as in position 0 with any of the front doors open.

The design of the electric drive allows for flexible adjustments of up to six seat parameters.

An additional door switch is used to adjust the lumbar support of the seat back/select the configuration of the multi-contour backrest.

Attention! In parallel with the seat parameters, the parameters for installing the steering column and rear-view mirrors are entered into the processor memory. The parameters entered into the processor memory are called up by holding down the corresponding function button.

Caution: Before calling up the settings after unfolding the seat, first bring its backrest to the vertical position.
