Removal



Engines without turbocharging

1. Remove the ground cable from the battery.

2. Remove the air filter.

3. Remove the crankcase ventilation hose from the top of the branch pipe (see fig. Intake manifold of a non-turbocharged engine).

4. Unscrew the intake manifold mounting bolts and remove the intake manifold from the cylinder head together with the gasket.

1. Remove the ground cable from the battery.

2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the intake manifold (see fig. Turbocharged engine intake manifold).

3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the overload sensor.

4. Unscrew the screws and remove the air duct located above the cylinder head cover. Unscrew the bolts and remove the air supply pipe from the intake manifold. Remove the gasket.

5. Unscrew the bolts and remove the intake manifold from the cylinder head. Remove the gasket.

Installation



1. Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal. Tighten the intake manifold mounting bolts to the required torque.
