Cars with gasoline engines.
Removal
1. Remove the air filter, see the relevant chapter.
2. Unscrew the bolts securing the oil dipstick guide tube.
3. Disconnect the engine control unit from the idle speed control actuator and set it aside from the work area.
4. Disconnect the plug from the idle speed control actuator.
5. Unscrew the bolts securing the idle speed control actuator to the intake manifold and remove the actuator together with the sealing ring.
6. Remove the fuel distribution line together with the injectors, see the relevant chapter.
7. Mark the low pressure hoses on the intake manifold to facilitate their subsequent installation and disconnect them. When disconnecting the brake booster hose, squeeze both tabs and pull the hose out of the connecting nipple.
8. Unscrew the intake manifold bracket mounting bolts.
9. Disconnect the crankcase ventilation pipe located under the intake manifold.
10. Unscrew the bolts securing the intake manifold to the cylinder head and remove it together with the rubber gaskets.
Installation
11. Install four new intake manifold profile gaskets.
12. Install the intake manifold, screw in its mounting bolts and tighten them to 15 Nm, acting alternately, in several passes.
Further installation of the dismantled parts is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
13. Secure the idle speed control actuator with a new sealing ring to the intake manifold and tighten the bolts to 7 Nm.
To facilitate installation, lubricate the sealing ring with a thin layer of grease.
