Removing
1. Disconnect the plug 1 and unscrew the camshaft position sensor 2 with a socket wrench from the cover 3 of the cylinder head (see illustration).
Installation
2 Attach the camshaft position sensor to the cylinder head cover with a new O-ring and tighten to 8 Nm.
3. Connect and secure the sensor plug.
Diesel vehicles
The camshaft position sensor is located on the cylinder head cover between the injectors of cylinders 3 and 4.
Removal and installation of the sensor as a whole is carried out in the same way as in cars with a gasoline engine.
The tightening torque of the sensor is 14 Nm.
Cylinder No. 1 is located on the side of the accessory drive ribbed belt.
