Windscreen wiper arm



Unscrewing the windshield wiper arm



Unscrewing the windshield wiper arm


1. Turn the windshield wiper off and then turn it off until the wiper arm returns to its original position.

2. Remove the wiper arm mounting bolt cover and unscrew the bolt (see picture). Move the wiper blade away from the glass and remove the wiper arm from the shaft.

Rear door wiper arm



1. Turn the rear door wiper off and then turn it off until the wiper arm returns to its original position.

2. Using masking tape, mark the location of the wiper blade on the rear door glass.

3. Using a thin screwdriver blade, remove the cap from the nut on the wiper arm shaft and unscrew the nut. Move the wiper blade away from the glass and remove the wiper arm from the shaft.

Installation



Windscreen wiper arm



1. Check the condition of the windshield wiper, then install the windshield wiper arm on the shaft and secure it with the bolt.

Rear door wiper arm



1. Check the condition of the wiper arm and clean the splines on the shaft, then install the arm on the shaft so that the wiper blade aligns with the adhesive tape on the glass. Secure the wiper arm with the nut and install the protective cap on the nut.
