Removing
1. Unscrew the rear wheel caliper and hang it on a homemade wire hook so that the brake hose does not disturb the traction.
Attention! Do not disconnect the brake hose, otherwise you will have to remove air from the brake system.
2. Unscrew the fastening bolt with a wrench with an internal hexagon (64) and remove the brake disc (62) from the rear axle shaft flange (68), (70) mounting pin.
Attention! The parking brake must be fully released. Loosen the hard-fitting brake disc with light blows with a plastic hammer.
Installation
1. To ensure uniform braking on both sides, both brake discs must have the same ground surface and the same depth of microroughness on it. Check the thickness of the brake discs and their lateral play.
2. If there is rust on the brake disc flange and rear axle shaft, remove it. Coat the rear axle shaft flange seat with a thin film of high temperature grease such as Molykote-Paste "U", Molykote-Paste G Rapid, Liqui-Moly-Paste 36.
3. Remove the protective varnish from the new brake disc with a nitro thinner. Instead, you can also clean and degrease the brake discs with a high-pressure steam jet.
4. If an old brake disc is being installed, clean and visually inspect the surface of the friction linings for the parking brake. Check the mobility of the parking brake pad lock.
5. So install the brake disc on the rear axle shaft flange so that the dowel pin engages in the brake disc. Screw in a new mounting bolt and tighten with a torque of 10 Nm.
6. Install the support.
