Cars with engines 111.948 and 601.970
Removal
1. Remove the transmission.
2. Remove clutch release lever 2 together with clutch release bearing 1 from the clutch housing. Remove the clutch release lever 2 from the slave cylinder side so that the spherical head bolt 3 can be removed without damaging the spring (arrow) (see figure 6.3).

3. Remove clutch release bearing 1 from lever 2.
Installation
4. Attach lever 2 to spherical head bolt 3.
5. Insert the clutch release bearing 1, the locks (arrows) must be installed in the lever 2.
Cars with engine 611.980
Removal
6. Remove the transmission.
7. Unscrew bolt 4 of the clamp securing the delivery pipe 3 to the transmission housing (see figure 6.4).

8. Disconnect the pressure pipe 3 from the clutch release unit 1.
9. Unscrew bolt 2 securing clutch release unit 1.
10. Remove the clutch release unit 1.
Installation
11. The clamp 5 must be installed before connecting the delivery pipe 3.
